A Fully Itemised Estimate

Prices shown on this page are for your guidance, please contact us for full details. A fully itemised estimate will be sent out prior to the funeral service. The estimate is split into two sections, “Our Charges” and the “Disbursements” . The disbursements are payments that we make on behalf of the family to the relevant third parties, i.e. crematoria, cemetery, Doctors, Minister, newspapers, florist etc. These items will be explained to you during the funeral arrangement interview. If, on receiving the estimate you wish to make any changes to the arrangements, please contact us as soon as possible.

The final invoice will be sent to you shortly after the funeral. If you are passing the account to a solicitor please let us know at your earliest convenience. If you are dealing with the estate yourself, you may present the invoice to the deceased’s bank or building society for payment directly from their account.

If you are finding it difficult to pay for the funeral you may be able to get assistance from the Benefits Agency. To qualify the next of kin must be in receipt of one of the qualifying benefits. These are Income Support, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Job Seekers Allowance (income based), Disabled Person’s Tax Credit, Working Family’s Tax Credit. Please contact your local Department of Work and Pensions for more information.
